A regional disco superstar known for his patented blazing "double guns" dance move, Giovanni took his own life after a 30 year battle with Funkytown. Unable to rid his brain of the Lipps Inc. #1 hit since its debut in 1980, Giovanni silenced its infectious strains the only way he knew how, taking his own life at the age of 52.
Police found the former Long Island disco champ dressed in his famous fiber-optic leisure suit, hair perfectly blown-dry and feathered with his 1978 Tri-state Dance-off trophy by his side.
