Welcome to Geno's...

"Would you like a side of small-minded bigotry with that?"
Whhaaaa? This guy intolerant?
The DOF is shocked. Completely shocked.
We don't believe in anything anymore.

What a bunch of jingoistic, xenophobic, red-state bullshit. I hope every restaurant in town switches to a "you must order in the native language endemic to the cuisine we serve" policy in order to show this jerk what a loser he is! Let's see what happens when people go to Imperioli's and get confronted with a menu where they have to decipher Canneloni al Forno from Rigatoni alla Piccate!. Or a specials board at Las Palmas where you have to translate Carne Asada Tostadas and Sopa de Camaron on the fly!

Oh, wait a minute...Um...

Never mind. He's still a douche.

I didn't realize that "Whiz, wit" was English.

Ummm…I just get confused over who the sign was discouraging. Those that can, read, but not speak, English? And why is there that strange cross-section that are equally outraged when people order in a language other than English when visiting/immigrating to America, but insist there's nothing more fundamental to the "Ugly American" stereotype than people going abroad and not ordering in the language native to the country they're visiting.

Maybe you should just try to order in the language of the country you're in, and the server should do their best to accomodate you?

P.S. "Whiz, wit" isn't so much English as it is American. 'Cause this is America and everyone should speak American here.

I'm surprised good sense actually prevailed. This country's too damn PC most of the time. Who cares if the guy wants to lose business to people that don't speak English? It's not like he had a racial slur on the window.

That's like me going to a Chinese restaurant and demanding they make a menu for me in English.
